Why are the bells ringing today?

Bells are being rung at 1pm today at St Marys to mark the birth of the first child of Lord Sebastian Seymour and Lady Poppy Seymour, a baby boy named Louis Francis Edward, who was born on Wednesday 14th January at 1pm. The child's grandparents, the Duke and Duchess of Somerset, are the patrons of St.Mary's Totnes and St. Mary the Virgin, Berry Pomeroy and we rejoice with them at this new birth.
