Wk 19 - Men at Work

Our specialist tiling sub-contractor Jamie Jeffreys began work this week. Jamie is a sole trader/craftsman with over 30 years experience of installing and renovating Victorian Geometric Mosaics. Jamie only has to lay 19,000 tiles in the church, which he reckons will take about three months. He has started in the north-west corner and if you look closely at the photos you can see the new mains water and sewerage connections.

Meanwhile skilled stone-mason Martin has finished work on repairing the cracked pillar. The scaffolding should come down on Monday and be moved outside ready for solar panel installation in September.
