From one side to the other

Our work gallery for this week. Jamie is back on the tiling, shown here near the north door. Tim and Hardeep have been moving the font which is now in its new location in the south west aisle (rather than the north west aisle). Tim is shown measuring up for the new position for the Venning memorial in the St Leonard’s chapel. Work has begun removing old paint which was peeling off, where the wrong type of paint has been used and hacking off plaster that needs replacing. The oak surrounds for the pillar bases are being cut and fitted. Last but not least a picture of the plumbing in the new loo - keeping the watery association in the north aisle…
